Taking group actions for multiple businesses you own on LocalArea.com is easy to do.
Once logged into your User Dashboard, you’ll find the Navigation Panel on the left side of your screen with a number of links running down the page.
To take group actions, first click on the My Businesses link and the my businesses page will open automatically and you will see a listing of all businesses you own.
To take group actions, select two or more businesses from the list by checking the box on the left, as seen below:
Once you have selected multiple businesses, you can take one of a number of group actions.
Example 1: Changing Multiple Businesses to Inactive State
Using the Change State drop-down, select Inactive to make all selected businesses inactive, as seen below:
When making businesses inactive, you will be prompted to enter a reason for the business being marked inactive and a date for reactivation. The message you provide will be displayed on the public site, allowing you to inform customers of the reason for any business closures.
You can reactivate multiple businesses by again selecting them on the My Businesses page and using the drop-down to select Active.
