Cloning a coupon is a great way to replicate a successful offer or discount for reuse. If you have tried to clone a coupon but are now finding that you can’t publish it, there are a few things to check.
First, make sure your business plan supports publishing coupons. If your business is on a Free plan, you will not be able to publish coupons until you upgrade to a Silver or Gold plan.
Next, if you have a Silver or Gold business plan and still can’t publish a coupon, check to be sure your business billing state is Active.
Lastly, if you have an active Silver or Gold plan, check your Manage Coupons page to be sure you have not already reached your limit for published coupons. If you have reached your limit you will not be able to publish another coupon until you remove a previously published coupon.
To check the plan type and billing status of your business, go to your My Businesses page and you will see a listing of all businesses you own, as seen below:
Under the State column, you will see either Active, Inactive, or Deactivated as the state of your business. If your business is in Inactive or Deactivated state, you will not be able to publish a coupon.
Under the Plan column, you will see either Free, Silver, or Gold as the plan level of your business. If your business is on a Free plan, you will not be able to publish a coupon.
Under the Billing column, you will see either the due date of your next billing cycle or N/A for a free account. If you see N/A or a date in Red, you will not be able to publish a coupon.
If you have checked all of these potential causes and still believe you are not able to publish coupons in error, please reach out to support@LocalArea.com or raise a support ticket for further assistance.
